Wow! I can't believe we are almost to a year and a half! Little girl you are changing so much every day! You've picked up Chinese somewhere and are very fluent now! You speak Chinese all the time! You even talk on your phone in Chinese! Today I heard you say the word "shoes" for the first time, which is good because you LOVE them SOOO much!

You LOVE to imitate what we are doing. This morning as I was putting on make up, you wanted some to put on too. I gave you an eyeshadow brush and you proceeded to put it on your eyes. When Daddy was on the phone today, you picked up your pretend phone and just jabbered away on it. You tried to put Daddy's big shoes on today!

You do not like being told "No" and boy do you have a mean dirty look! I don't know WHERE you got that from??? You like a routine and do NOT like things to disrupt that routine. The other morning, Daddy helped feed you breakfast, but he fed you in a different order than you are used to, you were not having it! Last night I tried to put a short sleeved shirt on you after realizing it was too hot for the long sleeved shirt I put on you, but you didn't want to change. You went to bed with graham crackers in hand one night and puffs in hand another night last week (you even bathed with the puffs!). You do funny things and then laugh at yourself- like put a plastic egg on your foot. When I tell you it's time to go to sleep, you get on the floor and lay down with your booty in the air- it is so cute!

You are so good at signing. The Baby Signing Time DVDs were the best purchase ever! You signed dirty, thank you, cracker, bath, outside, play, and bubbles recently. And when I ask you to sign something for me but you don't know it, you just move your hands around and "fake it". It's pretty funny. On the way home from work, we have very deep conversations. You talk then I talk, then you talk. It goes on like this the whole was home. I love it!

We are having such fun with you! We love you and think you are such a blessing! We pray that you will grow up to be a Godly woman and that God will guide you in your life and give you discernment and wisdom- but I don't know if we've actually decided to let you "go out into the world ever" yet. Maybe once we hit the teenage years we'll be ready. For now, you are right by Mommy and Daddy's side! Forever!
