Twilight

Okay! So, I've heard about these books. I've heard people talk about these books. And bought one the other day to find out what I thought about it for myself. I didn't think I would like them because I don't normally read books about vampires. I'd heard that they were addicting, so I told myself I would start it during Thanksgiving break when I had time to read.... Then... in a moment of weakness, after finished Pride and Prejudice (the movie) this weekend, I felt in the mood to start the first book, Twilight. and... I was hooked!

Wow! This book was captivating! I was engrossed in that book! I couldn't put it down! It became my life for two days- the amount of time it took me to read the book. I've never read a book this big this fast!

What's so great about this book. It's about a girl who doesn't fit in, and falls in love with Edward- a vampire- who only feeds on animals. They fall in love- but struggle with the fact that they can't be a normal couple because he's not human. What gets me about this book is the passion in it! It's possibly the most passionate book I've ever read- yet, the only kiss and don't even do that until half way through the first book. But, it's so passionate! They way he touches her, looks at her, makes her heart beat.... *Sigh**

There is so symbolism to a moral life as well. Edward, always has to be on his guard around Bella because he is attracted to her scent and could easily kill her in a moment of weakness. He can't give in to his desires for her.

If you haven't picked up this book, I highly recommend it!
