She has discovered her bows! This is the beginning of the end of the hairbow!
Rolling off the mat!Madeline turned 5 months last week! It has been a rough 2 weeks of us trying to get her little tummy problems under control. I am amazed at how God placed people in my life when I needed them this last week. One morning, after a really tough night of her tummy problems, I was crying and praying on our way to work. When I dropped her off at the sitter, one of the other moms told me that she cried for me the day before after hearing Madeline's problems because she went through the same thing with her daughter. That has been one of the greatest things about being a mom- all the other mommy support out there.
After putting her on formula exclusively (and getting a severe diaper rash, I think we've worked out the problems. She is finally doing better and is able to nurse without problems now. So, here are some things she is doing at 5 months:
-talks and laughs all the time and is now squealing and gasping- which scares us to death
-rolling over in both directions and is army crawling some -chews on EVERYTHING- can we say teething
-she grabs at things- like the cat's hair now- haha!
-LOVES to drool and make a razzing noise.
-likes to watch Mickey's Playhouse- apparently, at my sister's house at least
-is aware of other little kids and loves watching them
-can bring her toes up to her mouth and loooovvveees to eat them!
-sucks her thumb and all her fingers
-sleeps from 8:30pm to 5:30am (oh how I wish we could push that wake up time back a little)
-can sit up with support
-her little legs are so chunky that I have to squeeze them into the Bumbo! I guess I should've gotten that thing out sooner!
-Is in the 75% for weight and height! Who's child is this? Must be Aaron's!
-Loves going to Daddy's football games and watching all the people (although we can only make it until the end of the 1st quarter of the varsity game)
That's all I can remember right now. My dairy free diet is going well. I miss cheese and milk in my cereal, but I am losing weight finally! I have even found dairy free cookies!

She is SO adorable Jen! I'm sorry you had a tough time but I agree--God gives us great friends when we need them most.
