23 months

There have been too many posts about me lately and not enough about this cutie pie!------->

And How is it already the 27th of March and Madeline will be 23 months tomorrow?? Holy Cow! We have a blast with Madeline. Some of the things she is doing lately:

• She started singing in the car Sunday. We couldn't tell if it was Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star or Itsy Bitsy Spider, so we sang both and she sang both right along with us!
• She repeats everything we say! Especially when it is something new she's never said or doesn't hear often. It's pretty cute!
• She shows off for the people in the Starbucks line in the mornings. I don't know if they enjoy it, but I think it's pretty adorable.
• She "hops" a lot! Which is actually a one footed kind of bounce or limp- I wonder if people think she has something wrong with her because she "hops" all the time while at Starbucks.
• Last night Aaron told her she was a princess. So when I got home she told me, "I a princess." I decided to run with it and tell her that princess don't play in the water or dirt. They smell nice and stay clean. So this morning on the way to school she says, "I a princess. Princesses have to take baths." Seriously! Funny girl!
• She LOOVVEEESS to read! We have to hide some of the books that she wants to read EVERY night to get a break. How many times can you read "lama lama" books before you want to throw them??
• She knows her animal sounds and loves to say them. She does good saying, "ABCD" and stops there. She will kind of sing the ABCs with you and LOVES the ending. She can count but only knows 1,2, 3, 6,and 9! haha!
• She LOVES shoes! Still. In fact, she knows every child's shoes at daycare and tells her sitter who each pair belongs to. So today, we were at Target and saw a pair of Crocs, which her friend at daycare Elise wears. She pointed to them and said, Elise! Genius!
• Her hair is really curly when it's wet. I love it and hope it stays that way
• She got scared a couple of weeks ago by thunder outside. She woke up crying. We brought her in bed with us (it was 5am on a Saturday). Well... since then her sleeping has not been as great. She wakes up crying a few times a week. If this gets more frequent, we are going to have to put a stop to it again!
• While she stills loves to eat, she will now pass up eating for playing! I never thought that day would come!
• If I am doing exercises in the house, she thinks it's hilarious to do them with me.

I know there are so many more cute stories, but I can not remember them all right now, and I've gone on long enough. Here are some pictures I took over the last couple of months.
