She is still such a great baby. Happy all the time. Very observant. Any time she is somewhere new she just looks and looks taking it all in. (that's from her daddy!) She is usually happy to just play by herself and explore her surroundings. However, she is also getting very curious and getting into everything. We are behind on baby proofing. I am pretty relaxed about where she goes and Aaron is pretty cautious. We finally bought a baby gate to block her into the living room. This way we don't constantly have to fight her and the cat food. The picture above shows how sad she is to be away from the cat food. Most nights it doesn't bother her, some nights, she can't stand to be stuck in the gate and wants out. She loves being outside (which we've been able to do a couple of times this month) and going on walks. She's been working and working on her two K9 (??) teeth for a loong time, and still don't have them yet. I am hoping soon. These two are killers!
While I was worried about her being ready to eat solids only and weaning her last month, this month, I know she will do fine. She LOVES food! She loves to eat everything. There isn't anything that she won't eat. We are trying chunkier foods for dinner. She will eat bread, crackers, puffs (loves them!), mum rice crackers, avocado-every night, apple slices, any fruit cooked and mashed, and many veggies soft enough to mash. We feed her first, then eat our dinner. Well, she now wants to eat again when we eat! We started Soy yogurt in the mornings with her cereal and she loves it! Her baby sitter is getting her to drink her milk cold from a sippy cup. (sob, sob- don't know if I'm ready for this!)
We are loving this age right now! It is a blast! We are thinking of starting swim lessons one night a week for something to do. Also, we are still working on her play room. It is almost finished, I will post pictures when we're done.
Better to get bed.... Can't keep my eyes open....
