6 Months

Madeline turned 6 months on the 28th of October. I am amazed to see how much she has developed just in the last week and a half. She is really interested in the world around her. Especially the cats! They are not too fond of her yet though. She gets distracted very easily, which is great when I have to take something away from her and not so great when I'm trying to feed her. She is starting to sit up without support. By the end of the month, I think she will be great at it. She rakes her fingers across the floor to get something she wants. She is really good at picking things up now and EVERYTHING goes to her mouth! She is now squealing in delight, I mean it's high pitched! She is sleeping through the night in her own room! She is now eating veggies and is up to two meals a day. I made my own baby food- avocado- last weekend and of course, she doesn't like it! We will have to keep trying it.

We went to our church Trunk or Treat event On Halloween, and she was not happy. I think she was very tired and just not in the mood. We helped with one of the games in which cardboard boxes got knocked over. Every time that happened she cried. Poor thing. Well, here are some pictures from recently. I could not get her to smile for pictures last weekend at all!
