We have had a blast this week! Football practice is over and Aaron is finally home! He is home in the mornings longer and home when we get here in the afternoons. What does that all mean? It means I am no longer a single parent and football widow. I can't get too excited because there are still playoffs, but he only has to go to one practice a week and the game. (And... it will probably be over tomorrow night anyway). So, with Aaron home more, I am able to.... get to work on time- even early!, work out!, go to the store by myself!, have some "me" time, and spend time with my hubby!
I knew I was feeling pretty down about being alone so much, but I didn't realize how down I was feeling until this week happened and I felt so great! It's been a tough school year so far. Taking care of a baby with help is not easy. I LOVE my time with Madeline, I just would love some help too. Aaron has been wonderful this week. He has watched Madeline so I can go work out. He's fed and dressed her in the mornings so I can get ready. It's been great. I am LOVING the time with him -as a family!
Madeline is too! She is having so much fun with Daddy. In fact, I think she adores him now. She is way more interested in him now that he's here to play with her, than she is in me- I just feed her. Anyway, we have had a great week with a HAPPY baby. Here's a funny video from this week. My cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much.

I love the video! I can so relate to the single parent feeling- that is exactly how I felt June thru September; during harvest! It makes such a huge difference having him here to help.
She's so cute- I love her sweet laugh!
