Last weekend we went to
Las Vegas for the Half marathon. I finished it.... much slower than I finished the one in town three weeks earlier.I struggled. I wasn't there mentally, plus I left my friends and decided to run ALONE for the whole 13 miles. BAD idea! Really bad idea! I won't ever do that again! It wasn't fun, and I struggled. Glad it's over, and now I am focusing on getting back out there and running again- trying to get more training time in so I can finish my next half (in Feb.) much easier. There were fun parts to it. This is the start line. 28 minutes after the first runner left, I got to cross the start line. 30,000 runners!
Madeline seeing the sights in Vegas. She did GREAT! I was so relieved. Even when we got stuck in road construction for 2 hours on the way home and she had a diaper blowout, she didn't complain. She slept great in the hotel too!
I don't know if you can tell or not, but she has avocado all over her face! She likes it!
I NEVER thought I would allow my Coach purse be a chew toy, but here it is! She didn't want her toy- she wanted my purse. I guess she already prefers designer handbags.
