Well, after two LOOONNNGG weeks, we finally have Internet and life is settling- somewhat- down. We have done even more remodeling in the last week (will post pics later). We have moved in and some boxes have been unpacked. My goal for this weekend is getting decorations up for Christmas- I volunteered my house for Christmas eve! What was I thinking?? So, here's what's been going on at our house lately:
- Ezra, our wild tiger striped cat, loves to go outside, but has been confined to the new house for almost TWO weeks (a new record for him). And you know, he's adjusting. It's almost like I have a new cat- his personality has totally changed. He is SOOO affectionate and sleeps a lot more. His spirit may be broken though.
-I am 5 months pregnant now! Woohoo! We had an ultrasound last week and confirmed she is definitely a girl. Everything looks great and she almost weighs a pound now (although with the weight I've gained I think she should weigh more like 10 pounds!).
-The neatest thing is that starting about a week ago I started feeling her move ALL the time! I don't think she EVER sleeps! It's the weirdest thing. It was normal to when I only felt her before bed or in the morning, but to feel her moving while I'm teaching?? Very distracting!
- We got moved in to our house and things are going good. This place is starting to feel more like home. The dogs have moved over and are adjusting great minus the rain last weekend and lack of shelter they had.
- I am coaching a group of JH students in the HD competition again with another teacher. Things are going great this year- even better than last year- except that it has been keeping me VERY busy! We are finishing our script tomorrow and I will be ready for a two week break after that!
- I am looking forward to my vacation from work. Ready to see my friend Michelle and ready to get my house put away.
I think that's all- at least all I can remember for now. I've missed you all! I will post pictures of the house this weekend. We are getting rugs for the living room and Aaron is finishing up the wood flooring in our study. He's amazing!

Yay! I can't believe it's already been 5 months!!! Just remember, you're not just carrying a one pound baby, but also like an extra pound of blood, and several pounds of fluid, and etc. It all comes out with the baby! Can't wait to see pics.
I'm so glad everything is going great for you guys!!! Merry Christmas!
I remember being distracted by Emily when I was teaching. I'd be in the middle of a sentence and she's start moving! My students always got a kick out of it when I would just stop midstream.
